Cashless Hospitalisation Facility

Aditya Hospital (Aditya Lifeline Pvt. Ltd.) provides cashless mediclaim facilities through major public/private insurance companies and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). Our dedicated TPA desk helps patients and families complete pre-authorization, room tracking, and final bill clearances smoothly.

How Cashless Pre-Authorization Works

Planned Admissions
  • Visit the TPA desk 48 to 72 hours prior to the planned surgery date.
  • Submit your doctor advice slip, investigation reports, and insurance e-card.
  • We forward the Pre-Auth application to your insurance provider for initial sanction.
  • Upon receiving initial approval, hassle-free admission is completed on the scheduled day.
Emergency Admissions
  • Patient is immediately admitted to Emergency / ICU for urgent care.
  • Attendants must submit policy documents and photo ID at the TPA desk within 24 hours of admission.
  • An initial deposit may be required until emergency sanction is received from the TPA.

Documents Required for Insurance / TPA

Please keep original and photocopies ready upon reporting to the admission counter:

Health Insurance Card / TPA E-Card
Current Year Policy Schedule Copy
Patient Photo ID (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
Employee ID Card (For Corporate Policies)
Treating Doctor's Prescription & Reports
Past Medical / Surgical Records (If any)

Hospital Billing Guidelines & Payments

Admission Deposit & Interim Bills
  • An initial deposit is required at the time of admission depending on the room category and estimated treatment plan.
  • For extended hospital stays, interim bill statements are updated at the billing counter so attendants can track daily expenses.
  • Payments can be made via Cash, UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, or Net Banking. Official receipts are issued for every deposit.
Non-Payable Expenses (Mediclaim)
  • Insurance policies do not cover certain non-medical consumables (e.g., registration fees, gloves, personal hygiene kits, diapers, admission charges).
  • These non-payable charges must be settled directly at the billing counter prior to discharge.
  • Any room rent difference (if a room category higher than policy entitlement is selected) must be paid by the patient.

Discharge Procedure & Bill Settlement

Once your treating consultant advises discharge during morning or evening rounds, the discharge process is initiated through the following steps:

  • Discharge Summary Preparation: The resident doctor prepares the discharge summary with medication advice and follow-up consultation dates.
  • Pharmacy Clearance: Any unused medicines are returned to the in-house pharmacy for final account adjustments.
  • TPA Final Approval (For Cashless Patients): The final bill and discharge summary are sent to the TPA for final sanction. TPA processing typically takes 2 to 3 hours after file submission.
  • Clearance Slip: After the remaining balance (if any) is settled, a discharge clearance slip is given to the attendant. Handing this to the nursing station releases the patient and documents.
